Description
The study explores integrating a Starlink Mini satellite terminal on a small UAV to enhance command‑and‑control resilience against RF jamming and range limitations.
A dual‑link architecture (RF + Starlink) with VPN over Raspberry Pi is developed to test performance, reliability, and automatic failover in realistic flight scenarios.
Expected outcomes include a validated prototype and a quantified assessment of when combined RF–satellite communication provides a significant operational advantage.
