From the battlefields of Ukraine to the summit of Kilimanjaro, Second Wind follows five wounded veterans who refuse to let adversity define them.

The Defence Centre for Leadership is pleased to invite you to an exclusive screening of Second Wind, an award-winning Ukrainian documentary.

The film follows five Ukrainian veterans, including four amputees, as they take on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Through their journey, it offers a powerful reflection on resilience, recovery, and the determination to move forward after war.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with members of the film's Ukrainian crew.
